Aloe’Swordfish ' is ahybridcreated by Renee O’Connell from a crossing made in January 2014 at a commercial glasshouse in Vista , California , United States . It was selected by the inventor in 2015 and patented ( PP32010 ) by Altman Plants in 2020 .
Aloe’Swordfish ' is a strikingsucculentthat forms open star - shapedrosettesof coloured leave with lavender , blue , violet , and burgundy tones . The rosettes can grow up to 2 feet ( 60 cm ) in diam and produceoffsets , spring a cluster over time . The leafage are fishgig - shape , slightly deltoid , with scollop red leaf edge , measuring up to 12 inches ( 30 cm ) long and 2.4 inches ( 6 cm ) astray .
The scarlet bloom are about 1 inch ( 2.5 cm ) long and appear inracemeson branchedpaniclesall year round .
