My name is Michael Follose , and since my last submission(Michael ’s Garden in OregonandReturning to a Garden After Almost a Decade),I’ve had two birch(Betula)trees removed , include one that I engraft 45 geezerhood ago . My married man , Don , and I built a new picket fence out front and terraced some of that surface area with more lava rock music , partly to cover their massive root organization with land . We ’ve also prompt thehostasandhellebores(that were now in direct sunlight ) to other garden . We ’ve spent the last couple of years institute the area to give it acottage gardenfeel . Here in Powell Butte , Oregon , we are now considered to be in Zone 6 , but we still choose our flora as if we were in Zone 5 .
