Having move to a new homestead we still had to observe the Sunday patterns and wintertime . We used to hold up on a versant and moving to the capable mountain valley has made it WAY hotter with an increased need for shade because there are so few tree . There were a few cerise tree at the back with an old outbuilding to create refinement so we decided that would make the perfect main poulet run . The fruit trees also meant they can scavenge up the hang yield & bugs that fertilize on the old fruit too .

Not only did we want to create tincture with a ceiling , we also want the chickens to be able to go outside during our long winters that get lots of coke . This intend they ’ll have an outdoor surface area even in the cold months . The pic below is the chicken coop unfinished- we still have cedar shingles to put on plus the other roof on the underwrite outpouring , I ’ll update it when it ’s ended .

poulet head for the hills # 2 has a few fruit trees ( cherry ) that offers a lot of shade and is close to the hencoop .
The Gallus gallus run # 3 is around the side of our garden , sort of like a chicken ‘ moat ’ .
Our 4th chicken run is inside the garden , where they wo n’t be until we can protect crops or use covered tunnels over the beds in the declension month and they can scratch up the remnant green goddess and bugs .
