“ Homemaking for me is just within me : I palpate this urge to nest at all times , and I ’m not organize for a baby , ” Hayden say Better Homes & Gardens during our picture shootfor her BHG cover . “ I ’m not nest for a adult male , I ’m not nesting for a kinsperson . I ’m doing it for myself . ”
Hayden — an Institute of Culinary Education - condition chef — has work up a pursuit of a corporate 3.7 million people by sharing her elevated recipe , aspirational peek into her life as a private chef in the Hamptons , and expertly hosted gatherings of friends and fellowship . While many of her posts are concern to preparation , entertaining , and hosting , she draws a truehearted line between her approaching to these at - home activities and that of many trad wives .
“ That ’s the beef cattle I have with trad wife cognitive content , I pretend , ” Hayden says . “ It ’s always through the electron lens of , ‘ I ’m doing this for my married man . ’ And that puddle me feel icky , because if you ’re not doing it for yourself , you should n’t just do it for your married man . ”
