Last fall , Michaele sent us some photos of her clouds of pinkish muhly grass ( Muhlenbergia capillaris , USDA Hardiness Zones 7 - 10 ) , and I do n’t jazz about you , but I fall in dear with that plant ( refresh your memory here ) . Today she ’s share some photograph of another of her pet plants in her Friendsville , Tennessee , garden .
She says,“If I had to come up with a title for this heap of pictures , it would be “ Confessions of a Creeping Phloxaholic . ” What can I say … I do sleep with this common and humble groundcover . There is something so celebratory of leap about it and it confirms to me that the season has really go far . It always frame a smiling on my boldness when the blanket of phlox and candytuft light up my pathways and drape over the rock wall . The colour bring out the little kid in me who bed the pastels of Easter egg and marshmallow dame . ”
Creeping phlox was a common and welcome deal where I grew up , so this brought back near retention , Michaele – thanks ! Your rock wall are amazing , and I call back we ask to see more of your garden throughout the season … hint , hint !
