Return visit to a beautiful garden

We ’re back today with Sharon Danovich Lupone , visit her garden in Pittsburgh , where she likes to make space that prompt her of her favorite garden in places like Charleston , South Carolina .

On the back terrace , the brick bulwark is grace with intricate ironwork and a plantation owner mounted on the wall .

Awater featureSharon plan is a centrepiece of the patio area . The water open is grace with float water lettuce ( Pistiastratiotes , Zones 10–11 or as an annual ) . Water lettuce is a capital addition towater gardensas anannualin cold climate , but it should n’t be grown in Robert Frost - free zones , as it can become a seriousinvasiveweed .

Thisclimbing rose(looks like the variety ‘ Fourth of July ’ ) was trained to arise up the ironwork on the patio .

And thisEuonymus(Zones 5–9 ) was trained up the brick wall . If you depend carefully , you may see the guide wires that are there to train the genus Euonymus along . Once it is all fill in , it will produce a baseball field pattern of green against the brick .

A joggling board sits on the terrace . If you have never heard of joggling instrument panel , you are not alone . They are a Charleston , South Carolina , specialty and are moderately like sway chairs ; instead of rock back and away , however , they joggle from side to side .

A smokebush ( Cotinuscoggygria , Zones 5–9 ) by the patio is covered with the swarm of airy seed heads that give it its common name .
