Celebrating winter blooms
My name is Margot Navarre . I have been feature inGPOD beforeand wanted to share some more wintertime garden photos from a witching metre of the twelvemonth .
Snowdrops(Galanthusspecies , Zones 3–8 ) add together a mickle of interest and agitation in our grizzly and rainy winter season in the Northwest . In my climate , they start blooming in October , blossom in former February , and continue through March .
Pinus contortavar.latifolia‘Chief Joseph ’ ( Zones 6–8 ) has promising golden wintertime colour and fits in nicely with glob ofGalanthus elwesii .

Snowdrops will naturalise and create a wonderful show . When clumps become extra - with child , divide them . Locate them to new places in the garden , and share them with acquaintance .
I use flora tags for special snowdrop bulbs . Galanthus‘Long Wasp ’ is feature here with the pinkish flowers ofCyclamen coum(Zones 5–8 ) .
Galanthus‘Long Wasp ’ withCyclamenhederifolium(Zones 4–9 )

The two dwarfNarcissusasturiensis‘Navarre ’ ( Zones 6–8 ) were collected by Gauthorne Hardy in the Navarre region of Spain and were purchased at Colesbourne Park from a Anemone quinquefolia protagonist . This is the first time of year they have bloom .
ThisGalanthus plicatus‘Diggory ’ was in the primer coat for five years and in conclusion bloomed this season .
Galanthus‘Robin Hood ’ has an X grading in the internal segments .

Hellebores(Helleborushybrids , Zones 4–9 ) make great companion planting with theGalanthus .
Drifts ofCyclamen hederifoliumcome out in other nightfall with pink and white blossom . They are easy to grow , are low criminal maintenance , and seem great withGalanthus .
