Landscape lighting transforms a space
Today we ’re in Raleigh , North Carolina , visiting with John Matthews .
I am an avid gardener , and while my gardens show very well during the day , I really like the fact that the gardens are showcased the other half of the daylight — dark . Strategically placing landscape gardening lighting throughout the gardens draw the environment magical . The ignition , combined with the sounds from the 65 - metrical foot meandering creek bisecting the backyard , make entertaining at night a particular occasion . In fact , theRaleigh Garden Clubthought my suggestion of conducting a dusk / nighttime spell of my garden complete with vino and appetizer was so intriguing that they made it the highlighting of their 2024 garden term of enlistment schedule , which will impart members to the gardens in lateMay .
Serenity is not the only aspect of the gardens . The full - sizing bonfire pit surrounded with Edison bulbs crystallize the distance , along withbenchesmade from fallen trees , is the perfectoutdoor entertainmentsetting in the dead of wintertime . Lastly , what nighttime garden nirvana would n’t be unadulterated without a lit golf hole with 85 - yard and 45 - yard tee box , along with two grit trap . A pail of beer and good supporter make for a very unique golf game junket !

Lights along the border of thearborbegin to show up as the day dim .

Theseating arealooks all the more beguiling as it glows in the dim of evening .

Lights shining up intotreesemphasize their beautiful form .
As the dark gets darker , the lights get more beautiful .
Fire and lights make for a marvelous eventide gathering .

Golf at night !
