Favourite cultivars for Eden this year admit ‘ Dream Touch ’ , a purple flower which is fringed with white edge , and ‘ La Belle Epoque ’ , which produces apricot pink and java flower petal fading prettily at the edge .
The Eden Project gardening team planted around 7,500 tulip in the Mediterranean Biome over three days in February .

The bulb were in the beginning set in individual pots back in November and left outside . This chilling process is what aid the tulip to produce such longsighted , tall stems , as well as allowing the roots to become well established .

Eden ’s Easter vacation activities , featuring a multitude of games and activities highlighting the grandness of soil , crops and Agriculture Department , take place between April 6 and 25 .
